I have pain in my left breast on the side opposite of my armpit and there is a lump. Is this a sign of breast cancer?

The best information I can give you is to go have this checked out. None of us can really say what this is. You need to see a doctor who may want to do specific testing. I would call and make an appointment as soon as you can for your own peace of mind. Good luck to you. Sharon
