The sad truth is breast cancer can reoccur at any time no matter what you are taking. A patient can even develop a different type of breast cancer that has nothing to do with the original disease. A different breast cancer has completely different cells that don't need estrogen to survive so the hormone blocking drug won't have any effect. BUT.... instead of making myself miserable and sick with worry, I just try to take one day at a time and enjoy the heck out of every minute. I follow the direction and treatment plan but don't dwell on the "what if's". You don't have control of what happens, In the big picture, my personal belief is that it is up to a much bigger decision-maker than little old me. Hang in there.... and try not to let those negative thoughts ruin your day. Take care, Sharon
